Vans x Quasi Crockett High Pro - Antique Green/Black
Inspired by vintage militaria and classic utilitarian function, these antique green and black Vans x Quasi Crockett High Pro Shoes arrive as a collaborative release designed to capture the true essence of contemporary skate culture. Following on from Chad Bowers’ earlier Epoch Sport Pro collaboration with Vans in 2018, these redesigned high-top skate shoes are styled with reinforced suede and canvas uppers, whilst the DURACAP trims, the rubberised cupsole support and the classic Wafflecup outsole are designed to combine to deliver exemplary boardfeel and responsive function from first wear. A traditional vulcanized construction remains loyal to Vans’ timeless M.O, whilst the high-level impact cushioning across the reinstated UltraCush HD sockliner puts performance before all else. An auxetic-shaped toe bumper helps keep unwanted scuffs and scrapes at bay, whilst the high-rise foxing above the midsole ensures reliable structuring is adhered to across all high-stress areas. Colour-contrasting white stitching shadows the jet-black suede overlays and the washed-green sidewalls to deliver a ‘70s ode to sporty materialization, whilst the recessed 7-eyelet flat lacing system works effortlessly to secure the ‘Vans x Gilbert Crockett’ branded tongue across the arch of the foot. An all-black lined interior and dual interior-facing ventilation eyelets deliver a sleekened sense of superiority, whilst the commemorative ‘Quasi’ embroidered heel-strips actively joins the ‘Vans’ branding ankle collar with the classic bright-red ‘Off The Wall’ heel stamp for a contemporary and creative sign-off.
Yet another creative collaboration to embrace pro-skater Gilbert Crockett’s iconic signature silhouette, these reimagined Crockett High Pro Shoes from Quasi and Vans are designed to pair past with present through their admirable aesthetic and subtle ode to old-school skate stylings. Inspired by traditional militaria, utilitarian purpose and reputable longevity, these quirky antique green skate shoes actively celebrate all three party’s commitment to skate through one unique aesthetic.
